If i were to order a brand new 2008 mini cooper, what are some MUST features that i should get?

also, what color is nicer on the mini cooper in your opinion. black with white roof and white bonnet stripes, or white with black roof and black bonnet stripes? having a hard time deciding

They look great in dark blue with a black or white top and the bonnet strips. The sport package is worth the money.

Many are saying "go with the Cooper S," but if you like the way the car looks and aren't speed crazed, the regular Cooper is a good car. It will get 37 MPG on the highway, has the same 6 speed manual transmission as a Cooper S, and besides the hood, there isn't a ton visually different about the car. Remember, the Cooper S gets slightly worse MPG (34 on the highway) and requires Premium gasoline.

From my understanding, they are great cars no matter which way you go.

I will say one thing, being young was brilliant. Yes, I know I'm only 24 now, but I'm talking about when I was six or seven and could play with my cars toy, build vehicles that defied the laws of physics in Lego and race my dad on Scalextric. Without citing sources, Auto Bild said in its forthcoming Friday edition that the two companies is expected to make a decision in July if the Mercedes A-class next generation will be built at BMW's Mini platform.

Do they sell a mini cooper like this?

do they have a regular red mini cooper withe the bonnet stripes on the front? i know that the mini cooper s have it but does the regular have an option to have it, if so, do i have to pay extra money?-thanks

My husband and I both own Cooper S vehicles. Ours come with bonnet stripes. It came that way. I have seen regular Cooper with bonnet stripes and you will see the charge reflected on the window sticker. Yes, you can get a bonnet stripe on your Mini at the dealership if your Mini did not come with one. It is simple and a quick procedure.

Ps: yes I have seen regular red Cooper with a white and black bonnet stripe. The one with the black stripe was already pre-sold and custom made by the customer (the sales person told us that).
