Mini Cooper with US specs: What would it take to sell it on the German economy?

I bought a 2007 Mini Cooper through US Military Sales in Germany. The car has US spec's, so I can take it back to the USA if I wished. I am thinking of selling it on the German economy. Does anyone know if I would have to convert it to "German spec's" in order to sell it to a German and for it to pass inspection for a German? And, what would it take to convert it to German spec's? Is it easily done or not worth it?
